Cameron Hons (Born June 13) is a musician from Sydney, Australia. He loves Rock music and his favorite band is Deep Purple.
Although he has a life of loving music, he first started playing in 2004 where he got his first electric guitar for his 13th birthday. Then, with his best friend Stefan Goslinga, joined the band The Country Folk People, They were very popular with friends, and around the school yard. They had released a hefty amount of albums within 2004 - 2006, until they broke up the band in January of the latter year.
After The Country Folk People broke up, Cameron decided to turn Solo and he began to record comedy albums. His most major comedy release was his hit single "Jacob Menson Sucks At Super Mario 64" in mid 2006.
He continued to make music and then in 2008, he formed a new band with Florida born American singer Shayne Thames. The Electronic Dance duo, Azure Star and they released their debut album in the year 2009, A New Generation. They were a very different band with more serious songs and catchy electronic pop like tunes that they enjoyed working on.
In 2008 Cameron started to work on Instrumental Music and released his first Instrumental Album, At Dawn In The Shade...now he continues to make Instrumental Music originally and has had many other major releases and many different remix albums.
Continuing on as an independent producer, more solo albums were released as well as instrumental music at the same time during 2008 to present. In 2013, Stefan and Cameron decided to reform the Country Folk People and they are planning to begin to record a new reunion album sometime within the new year of 2015.
2014 was a huge year for Cameron, as he celebrated his 10th anniversary with making music. He had released 2 solo albums in the one year [Picture Perfect? and It Just Gets Worse!] as also a big 2 disc Anthology collection with his best hits, as well as a giant 8 Disc Box Set containing the Instrumental Albums from 2008 - 2012 plus all of the remix albums and discs of previously unreleased material and bonus content.
Cameron does not read music and he is no music theorist, but he really loves to just play music and have fun. He also loves taking to his friends and fans on social media and in real life as well.
